Hi! My name is Bong Abagon, a pastor and research student from Gateway Seminary. I am currently finishing up my masters and will graduate this semester.
I am looking to finish my research in the next few weeks. May I ask for your help?
The research is about the "55 yr old and older First Generation Filipino Immigrants in Oahu. I am asking how we can better serve them and how they can be better connected to a local church.
These are some of the questions I wish to research on:
Covid 19 Questions
1. How has Covid19 affected your friends, family, and work?
2. What are your biggest concerns/fear in regard to this event?
3. Do you think it is important for faith community to help out during this during pandemic?
Regarding Transitions
1. Were there organizations that helped you transition when you came to Oahu?
2. Would you consider a help from a church in time of need and transition?
Regarding Church
1. Do you think churches should step up in meeting the needs of the community?
2. What do you think should be a churches primarily role for your family?
